Monty “Bruce” Graham, 54, Muscle Shoals, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017. Friends Remembrance visitation will be Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 1-2 P.M. at Riverfront Park with a Celebration of Life Service to follow. He was a member of Killen First Baptist Church.

Mr. Graham is preceded in death by his mother, Dot Graham; step mother, Doris Graham.

He is survived by daughter, Mary Elizabeth Graham; father, Bob Graham; sister, Deborah Stutts; nephews, Zach Stutts (Amber), Ethan Stutts, Lane Stutts, and Cole Stutts.

 

Jerry Wayne Jones, age 62, of Florence, Alabama, died Tuesday, October 17, 2017. The visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 19th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will be Friday, October 20th at 1:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Church of Christ. The body will lie-in-state from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Center Star Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Sue Beasley Jones; son, Joseph Wayne Jones; and brother, Elton Jones.

He had a strong faith and loved the Lord and was a member of Cornerstone Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Jones; sons, Jason Jones (Misty) and Chris Jones (Stephanie); daughter, Brittany Jones; brother, Tommy Jones, Delton Jones, Mike Jones, and Bill Jones; sister, Glenda Hinthorn, seven grandchildren; Hannah, Jayla, Jaxon, Gracie, Jewel, Dustin, and Tereena; and one great-grand-son, J.D.

Pallbearers will be Tim Jones, Adam Rhodes, Andy Rhodes, Mike Durham, Robbie Jones, and Ricky Pettus.

 

Larry Mason, age 63 of Anderson, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. A memorial visitation will be held at Elkins East Chapel Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 2:00 until 4:00 pm.

 

Celia Diane McClellan, age 71 of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017.

The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2017 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Jim Lumpkin officiating. Burial will be at Duncan Creek Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pinkney Wilson & Ruth Turbyfill; brother, Jerry Turbyfill; and sister, Bonnie Reese.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Harold Andrew McClellan; sons, Jerry McClellan (Vanessa Smith), Marcus McClellan (Heather); grandson, Landon Marcus McClellan; brother, Forrest Turbyfill; sister, Bobbie Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers will be Jeff Snider, Dale Smith, Donnie Fugate, Rickey Murray, Jeremiah Malone, Gary Harrison, and Thomas Swinney.

 

Sally Jane Davidson Wonert, 61, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017. A memorial visitation will be Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 12-1 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a Celebration of Life to follow. Brother Dallas Culver is officiating.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilkins B. Davidson and Virginia Irene (Grissom) Davidson.

Survivors are husband, Forrest Mitchell; daughter, Autymn Wonert Hamm (Jameson) of Florence, AL son, Lucas JC Wonert (Erica) of Trussville, AL; sister, Patricia Haley (John Cooper); grandchildren, Jaycie Hamm, Daxton, Elisabeth, and Oliver Wonert.

Jane Craig Jones, age 81 of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Mt. Hope Methodist Church Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Jones; parents, Leon & Lola Craig; and brother, Robert H. Craig.

She leaves to cherish her memory her niece, Leigh Ann Counts (husband, Thomas); great-nephew, Tyler Counts; great-niece, Katy Counts McDonald (husband, Cody); great-great-niece, Adalyn McDonald; Jim Craig and family, as well as a host of other family and friends.

 

Emily Wooden Wade, 58, of Killen passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Elkins Funeral Home in Florence. A service will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 2:00PM in the chapel at Elkins Funeral Home. Shawn Smith and Gary Patton will be officiating. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Park

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Elmer and Gladys Cornelius; and James and Mollie Wooden; and her parents, James and Cassie Wooden.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Reanne Wade; sons, Joshua Louis Wade (Crystal), James David Wade (Rebecca); honorary daughter, Jennifer Harris (Matthew); honorary grandchildren, Aubrey Charles Harris, Owen Fisher Harris, and Randy Lynn Calhoun Jr.; brother, Gerald Dewayne Wooden; sisters, Janice Annette James (Gary),Tommie Sue Thigpen (Mark); Honorary sisters, Mary Pickard, and Lois Spires, Regina Leopard; nieces; Sarah, Amanda(Aaron),and Jenna; nephews, Marcus, Zach, and James

Mrs. Wade was a 1977 graduate of Coffee High School and an active member of East Florence Church of Christ. She loved spending her time doing crafts, sewing, reading, baking and loved to watch Alabama Football.

Pallbearers will be friends and family. Honorary pallbearer will be Pyson Frye.

 

Melinda Williams, 57, of Killen, passed away on October 15, 2017. Melinda attended Highland Baptist Church.

Visitation will be at Highland Baptist Church on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Baptist Church. Rev. Dr. John Brock and Rev. Chris Underwood will be officiating. The casket will be placed inside the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Juanita Herston Youngblood.

Survivors include her spouse, Ricky Williams of Killen; daughters, Lauren Craig of Florence and Megan Williams of Baltimore; brothers, DeWayne Youngblood (Jenny) of Florence and Mike Youngblood (Jeanne) of Decatur; aunt, Shirley Canerday (Don) of Sheffield and a host of nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

 

Frances Elizabeth Aigner Willis, 95, of Muscle Shoals, passed away at her home on Monday, October 16, 2017 surrounded by her family. Visitation will be Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 10-11 A.M. at Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church with Mass to follow. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Marlene, Joe, Rose, and Anita Willis, Carolyn W. Bennett, Cathy Lucas and son-in-law Tom Lucas, and Martha Day; sister, Martha Ann Staley, along with eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and her loving caregiver, Edith Warren.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Aigner Gattman and Joseph Aigner; husband, Macon Paul Willis; son, James Edward, and sister, Catherine Poole.
